What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files your browser stores and sends back to us on every request, which is how a website recognizes you between pages. We also use browser session storage, which works the same way but is cleared the moment you close the tab and is never sent to a server. Both are covered by this policy. We use a tag manager and advertising pixels, listed below, only where you have agreed to them. We do not use device fingerprinting.
Essential Cookies We Set
These are needed to deliver the service you asked for, so they are set without consent. Blocking them may prevent login, payment, course playback, progress tracking, or certificate access from working correctly.
- tc_session — keeps you signed in. Expires after 30 days.
- tc_currency — remembers the currency prices are shown in. Expires after 1 year.
- tc_consent — records the cookie choice you made here, so we do not ask again. Expires after 6 months.
Optional Cookies and Storage
These are set only where you have agreed to them. Where consent is required, nothing below is written to your device until you accept.
- tc_ref — records which affiliate or partner link brought you to us, so a referral can be credited. Expires after 60 days.
- tc_attribution and tc_segment — browser session storage holding the campaign or referring site you arrived from, and which audience you identified with, so we can tell which programmes reach the right learners. Cleared when you close the tab.
- _clck and _clsk — set by Microsoft Clarity through our Google Tag Manager container, to recognize a repeat visit and group the pages of one visit together. Expire after 1 year and after the visit respectively.
Analytics Without Cookies
We measure page views with Vercel Analytics, which stores nothing on your device and does not identify you individually. Because it sets no cookies and reads none, it does not require consent, and it runs whichever choice you make here.
Tag Manager and Advertising
With your agreement we also load Google Tag Manager, which runs the measurement tags we have placed in it. Today those are Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement — so we can see where a page confuses people, and an OpenAI advertising pixel, which tells us which adverts lead to an enrolment. They load only after you accept, never before, and rejecting or withdrawing consent stops them and deletes the cookies they set.
Clarity records interactions with the page, not the contents of what you type: form fields are masked before anything leaves your browser. Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI process this data under their own policies as well as our agreements with them, and it may be handled outside your country.
Third-Party Services
Our payment provider (Cashfree) and our video host (Bunny) set their own cookies and storage when you start a purchase or play a lesson. Both are necessary to deliver what you requested at that moment, and both are governed by their own policies as well as our agreements with them.
After you clear a certificate we show Trustpilot's Review Collector, so you can review us if you want to. It is shown because you finished a certificate, not because of any cookie choice, and it stores nothing on this website's domain. Loading it does tell Trustpilot which page you are on, and Trustpilot may set a cookie on its own domain while testing the widget. Trustpilot A/S is based in Denmark and handles that data under its own policy.
Managing Your Choices
You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. Rejecting optional cookies also deletes the ones already set. Separately, you can block, delete, or limit cookies through your browser settings.
Visitors in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked before any optional cookie or storage is used. Elsewhere we do not display a banner, but the same Cookie Preferences link lets you opt out.
Do Not Track
We do not change what we store based on a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control header, because our code does not read them. The Reject button, and the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, are the controls that actually work here. Your browser settings will also block our cookies if you tell them to.
