What is Therapy Council?
Therapy Council is an independent private certification body providing assessed professional education in mental health and wellbeing practice.
Teachers, managers, coaches and colleagues often support people facing difficult situations. Therapy Council provides structured education in art therapy, school counselling, life coaching and workplace wellbeing, with practical methods and clear boundaries for each role.
Each programme is developed against defined learning outcomes and published in full before enrolment: modules, study hours, and assessment requirements. Learners are assessed against a stated pass standard, and a credential is issued only when that standard is met. Every credential issued is entered on the Therapy Council Credential Register, where anyone can confirm it without an account. The Therapy Council Credential Register verifies credentials issued by Therapy Council. It is not an NCAHP, RCI, or government professional register.
We are not a licensing or statutory regulatory body. Our certifications record training completed and an assessment passed. They do not grant a licence to practise or permit the use of a protected title. Regulated clinical practice remains the domain of statutory boards, and we say so on every certification page.
